Monetization is one of the key problems of app developers, since app purchases are extremely low and in-app advertisement decreases the number of users. In this situation, developers tend to sell users’ data to large businesses that use the data to improve their products and services. This data is often anonymous, but there are cases of selling personal data as well. And users are not rewarded for providing their information. From purchasers’ point of view, this data is not transparent and not verifiable. SWIPE is going to make this process transparent and fair for all of the parties. Users will control their data and, if they opt in, will be rewarded for providing access to the data. SWIPE will make a decentralized marketplace where data buyers will be able to buy blockchain verifiable data. Moreover, the data will be complete user profiles that are much more valuable for businesses. App developers will use SWIPE’s SDK with in-app marketing tools that will help to retain users and will allow developers to sell users’ data directly to businesses without middlemen. SWIPE already has an alpha of their API and an app to demonstrate SDK features.
Their token called SWIPE will be used as the main payment method for all marketplace participants, as well as for rewards and staking. Token sale details are available to investors.
The team is a key element of the project. It is a Southeast Asia based company called SwipeRich. They have two popular mobile apps AGILA Rewards and cepatswipe, both are advertising-based apps with a user base of almost a million users. The team is completely formed and consists of 15 specialists, including developers, marketers, business developers and team leaders. Ten advisors, mostly top managers, support the team.
An old problem of stealing users’ data and selling them to businesses is promised to be solved by SWIPE, a marketplace for app developers, data buyers, and users. Each party will benefit from the new transparent process – users will be rewarded for their data, app developers will get better user engagement and direct sales, and data buyers will get data of better quality. The team has been working in the same sphere for many years and proved its strength and effectiveness with two mobile apps very popular in Southeast Asia, a fast growing market.

SWIPE Network — a decentralised mobile engagement data platform that will empower app developers with a suite of marketing tools (via SDK – software development kit) to monetise anonymised data transparently and fairly using blockchain technology.
