The last few years were crucial in the advertising market in terms of sharing the market by various ad types. Digital advertising conquered the biggest market share and currently is the fastest growing segment. Native advertising is one of the key tendencies in online ads that made this possible. AdHive is aiming to create a platform that would allow you to send a task to distribute your ad to a network of influencers (for example, popular channels or bloggers on YouTube, Instagram or other media).
Here’s how they are going to do it:
Influencers will be united in a network with a system of rules, automated operations, and payments. Advertisers will work on the same platform with the influencers. There will be no need to choose each influencer to send a task, it will be sent to all of them. This will save money for all participants and give an opportunity to small influencers to get profit by distributing the ad on their channels. The tasks and payments will be bound to smart contracts, making the system clear and trustworthy. Once a task is complete, the AI-based system releases the smart contract to send the payment to the influencer automatically.
The platform is already available for testing on the stage of alpha version, the beta version will be released in Q1 2018. For the moment the platform already has more than 3000 influencers.
Their native ERC-20 token called ADH (AdHive Token) allows users to access the platform features. Each influencer must pay a security deposit of ADH tokens to apply for ad placements, and get ADH for their work. The payments can be easily converted into fiat. Apart from payments to influencers, advertisers can also spend ADH for analysis of all channels to find out which of them fit their needs best.
Co-founders Dmitry Malyanov and Vadim Budaev have previously co-founded Scorch.ai (a provider of AI solutions for business) and Webvane (a solution for generating meta data for analysis or search of videos).
Malyanov was also a head of Groupon’s sales team.
Alexandr Kuzmin, also a co-founder, is an entrepreneur and has experience in blockchain technology.
The core team consists of 13 specialists plus 7 advisors.
AdHive’s partners include: Wings that will provide technical support for the AdHive ICO, Bancor that will sustain liquidity for ADH tokens, and AdEX that will provide some of their solutions to be implemented on the AdHive platform.
AdHive is going to significantly simplify interaction between advertisers and influencers putting them all in a win-win situation. The idea is pretty good, the team is strong enough to implement the platform. Don’t forget that the product is already close to the beta version, and more than 3000 influencers are already on the platform. There is a couple of small disadvantages we’d like to mention. The system is not flexible enough, a competitor with more diversified system may beat this mass-task idea. The difficulty of contacting advertisers and influencers, from the biggest to the smallest, nowadays is overestimated. Anyway, in general rank this project quite high.
